INTRODUCING AR38: NEW SUPERFLY RESIDENTS FOR 2026
Superfly is thrilled to welcome AR38 as new resident DJs for 2026
AR38 are a dynamic DJ and producer duo hailing from the Midlands, comprising the talented Ashley Fearn and Rob Day. This formidable partnership has earned recognition throughout the UK underground scene for their seamless mixing abilities, infectious high-energy sound, and their ability for rocking house raves earns them a well-deserved status as two of the Midlands most sought-after DJs.
Drawing inspiration from the distinctive grooves of Piv Records and influenced by artists like Sidney Charles, AR38 have cultivated a sound that perfectly balances driving house elements with deep, rolling basslines and carefully crafted atmospheric builds. Their sets are characterised by an intuitive understanding of crowd dynamics, effortlessly weaving together tracks that maintain relentless energy while showcasing their technical prowess behind the decks.
As the creative backbone of the renowned Bunker brand, Ashley and Rob have been instrumental in shaping both its musical identity and its reputation for delivering truly unforgettable parties. Under their guidance, Bunker has consistently attracted some of the scene's most respected names, hosting exceptional performances from heavyweight artists including PAWSA, Sosa, Darius Syrossian, and Luke Dean, among many others. Their ability to curate lineups that complement their own distinctive style has established Bunker as a must-attend event series for discerning underground music enthusiasts and house heads alike.
The duo's reputation has seen them become regular fixtures at some of the UK's most celebrated house music events and festivals. Their commanding presence has graced stages at Forbidden Forest, Discotech, Groovebox, and numerous other premier venues, where they've consistently demonstrated their ability to captivate larger crowds with their signature sound. Their touring schedule has taken them across major UK cities including Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, and Leeds, while their international appeal has led to memorable performances across Europe in iconic destinations such as Ibiza, Amsterdam, Prague, and Budapest.
Beyond their prowess behind the decks, AR38 have proven themselves equally adept in the studio. Their production work has garnered significant attention within the industry, with standout releases finding homes on highly respected labels including Moxy Muzik and Whoyostro. These releases showcase their ability to translate their dancefloor sensibilities into meticulously crafted tracks that resonate with both DJs and dance music enthusiasts worldwide.
What sets AR38 apart is their unwavering commitment to the underground ethos combined with an innate understanding of what moves a crowd. Their journey from local heroes to internationally recognised artists reflects years of dedication, countless hours perfecting their craft, and an authentic passion for the music that drives them. Each performance tells a story, building tension and release with the precision that only comes from true masters of their art.
With both their live performances and studio productions gaining serious momentum, AR38 are rapidly cementing themselves as one of the most exciting and promising duos to emerge from the Midlands underground scene. Their addition to Superfly's 2026 roster represents not just an exciting new chapter for the duo, but a significant coup for the Superfly brand, promising residents and visitors alike an authentic taste of the very best that UK house music has to offer.
As they embark on this new residency, expect AR38 to bring their trademark intensity, technical excellence, and infectious energy to Superfly's dance floor, creating the kind of memorable experiences that have defined their career thus far.
Their debut as Superfly residents is on the 31st January alongside Padraig Killion and Williams, another date to watch out for is March 28th alongside Luke Alexander and rising star of the Leicester scene, Joe Fenwick as we look to 2026 to build a community of heads, friends and dancers around our house music events in Leicester and beyond.
